This article is only intended for machines that are not owned or maintained by Magic Memories. Machines owned by Magic Memories should already have NinjaOne installed and allow for full remote access by technicians.
Summary
NinjaOne Quick Connect allows support technicians to securely view and control your desktop during an active support session. This method provides immediate remote assistance without needing full software management or permanent monitoring installed on your personal or non-managed device.
This guide provides instructions for end-users on how to accept a temporary remote support connection from the Magic Memories support team using NinjaOne Quick Connect.
Requirements
An active internet connection.
A remote support invitation link or code provided by a Magic Memories technician.
Permission on your device to download and run temporary executable files.
Join a Quick Connect Support Session
Option 1: Join Using a Direct Link
Open the support link provided to you directly by the support technician or via email.
Select the option to download the Quick Connect installer.
Open and run the downloaded application on your computer.
Notify the technician once the application is running so they can establish the session.
Option 2: Join Using a Connection Code
Open your web browser and navigate to
magicmemories.rmmservice.eu/connect.Enter the unique invitation code supplied by the support technician.
Select the option to download the installer.
Open and run the downloaded application file.
Ending a Quick Connect Session
Once the support session is complete, you can close the application. If the technician configured the session for single-use, the connection details expire automatically upon disconnect.
A support technician cannot reconnect to your machine after the session ends unless a new invitation is created or you re-launch the authorized executable.
