In order to maintain the highest level of security, all employees are required to follow the guidelines outlined below:
Inspect terminals frequently
Terminals should be inspected for damage, modification or tampering at the beginning of each shift. Learn how to Inspect terminals.
Keep terminals secure
Terminals should never leave employee’s sight or be left unattended.
Keep a record of terminals on site
Terminals should be inventoried. If a terminal goes missing, or if a surplus appears, the variation should be reported to management right away.
Keep payment cards visible to customers
Payment cards should never leave the customer’s sight at any part during any transaction. Remain with the customer until the transaction is complete, then return the card to the customer.
Magic Memories issued
Employees are to use payment equipment & services issued by the company only. No unauthorized or personal devices or services may be used to accept payments from customers.
Acceptable payment methods
Employees are to only accept payment methods allowed at your site. The accepted payment methods should be clearly displayed on site. Report any deviations to your manager immediately.
Magic Memories operation only
Magic Memories employees should be the only ones to operate payment terminals. Do not allow customers, or partners to operate terminals.
Restricted areas
Employees should keep customers out of restricted areas (where applicable).
