To make sure you can get back into your Google Account if you ever can’t sign in, add recovery information which allows you to regain access to your account without the need to open a support ticket.
This document assumes you do not have any Recovery Information linked to your account. If you do, it’s still a good idea to inspect and update your Recovery details for accuracy periodically.
Add Google Recovery Information
How to add your Recovery Information:
Click here, or go to myaccount.google.com/signinoptions/recoveryoptions
Sign in using your Magic Memories Account if prompted.
Skip this step if the link above worked. From the Google My Account page, go to Security > under How you sign in to Google, click on either Recovery phone or Recovery email.

Enter a recovery email and recovery phone where you would like recovery codes to be sent.
List of recovery methods available to addYour recovery email address cannot be @magicmemories.com and must be a personal email which only you have access to.
Your recovery phone must be able to receive SMS text messages and must be accessible only to you.
Verify both recovery methods
An SMS text message from Google will be sent to the number provided. Enter the code to verify the recovery method.
An email from Google will be sent to the address provided. Enter the code to verify the recovery method.
Do not forget to verify both your recovery phone and email addresses. Failure to do so will prevent you from using the password recovery process.
Confirm information
The orange exclamation mark should be removed once you have successfully added both recovery methods.
